Bhujangasana. Cobra Pose. Yogini. Greek goddess, classical artistic yoga on wet marble

MP4

Lying prone, the palms press beside the ribs and the chest rises in a gentle arc, the gaze lifting without straining the neck. Keep the elbows soft and the lower body heavy so the lift comes from the strength of the back rather than the arms. Rise only as high as the body feels spacious.

Muscles: erector spinae, trapezius, latissimus dorsi, gluteus maximus.
Cobra strengthens the back body, expands the chest, and awakens the subtle current that runs along the spine.
