Trikonasana
Trikonasana. Triangle-Pose. Yogi. Greek athlete, sweaty muscle yoga on wet marble
From a wide stance the front hand reaches toward the shin or floor while the upper arm rises, the torso expanding in a triangular plane. Keep both legs strong and the chest revolving open. Gaze upward or forward as the neck allows.
Muscles: hamstrings, adductors, obliques, gluteus medius, deltoids.
Triangle Pose stretches the side body, strengthens the legs, and cultivates spaciousness and clarity.
